Next Guest Speaker is Nigel Rawlinson

The next Filling Station at Box is in a week’s time (9th May). Our guest speaker is Nigel Rawlinson and he will be speaking on “Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again”.

Nigel is a priest in the Church of England who, since 2016, works as full time Chaplin at the University of Bath. Previously he held a workplace ministry as a doctor in Dorothy House Hospice and also as the Clinical Dean in the medical school at Bristol University. He was ordained in Bath and Wells in 1999 and is a member of All Saints Church, Weston. His theological training included Anglican, Methodist and Roman Catholic tutors.

He has three passions: to tell the good news of Jesus Christ to those who do not believe; feel God’s desire for their well-being; and to break down the barriers of denomination and Church boundaries. He believes that the foundation stones for the renewal of Christianity in the UK include unity, compassion and the power of the Holy Spirit

He is married to Pat and they have two daughters, Claire and Anna-Fleur.

Worship as normal, led by Mark and the band and refreshments throughout the evening. Starts at 7.30p.m. at Box Methodist Church
